This past Winter quarter of classes, I took a portfolio course designed around getting your identity in order for the job market. I spent a very good chunk of my time designing a lovely website with Indexhibit. Really, a very awesome CMS, but unfortunately not what I’ve decided I needed. I wanted a more blog oriented site, where I could complain, like this, and people, like you, could read and subscribe to my RSS.

So I scrapped it and started over, which was hard, it takes a man to throw away hard work like that. But it needed to be done. About five hours deep, I took a reddit break, came across a recipe for quick brownies, and promptly made them.

Baking was actually a nice break from staring at my laptop.

Took my 8 minutes total, by the way.

Yes, everything is a race.
